Kontrolliertes Interaktions-Tagebuch zur Erfassung sozialer Interaktionen, Beziehungen und Persönlichkeitseigenschaften
Short abstract
The CID serves to assess social interactions, relationships, and personality traits. Social relationship structures and personality traits are deduced from the entries. Two relationship types are distinguished: (1) affection for others and (2) conflict. Reliability: In a six-month longitudinal study, students in their first semester and six months later in their second semester were each asked to complete a three-week diary survey (n1 = 144, n2 = 113). The split-half reliability (odd-even method; first and second diary phase) ranges between rtt = .72 and rtt = .97. The retest reliability after a 6-month interval ranges between rtt = .50 and rtt = .90. Validity: Correlations with other methods were calculated (Relationship questionnaire by Asendorpf & Wilpers, 1998: r = .32-.66; NEO-FFI by Borkenau & Ostendorf, 1993, e.g. Extraversion and first diary phase: r = .37). The frequencies of the interactions can be validly mapped with CID.
