SBQ-G
Sexual Behaviour Questionnaire - deutsche Fassung
Short abstract
The German version of the SBQ is a short self-assessment instrument for the differential assessment and quantification of sexual functions and dysfunctions in different areas of sexuality (libido, arousal, experience of satisfaction) in adult women (10 items) and men (11 items). Conceptually, it is based on the theoretical work on the sexual reaction cycle (Masters et al., 1997), biopsychosocial models of sexual dysfunction (Müller, 2011; Sadock, 1989) and the classification of sexual dysfunction of the ICD-10 (WHO, 2011). Reliability: The retestreliability (Cohen's Kappa) for the individual items (retest after 10-45 days) is between median = .71 (men) and median = .79 (women) in healthy subjects and median = .74 (total group) in healthy subjects. For the categorical classification (abnormality: yes/no, total group) the value is median = .82. The Global Index (MGISD) achieved retest reliabilities of kappa = .88 (men), kappa = .86 (women) and kappa = .90 (total group). Validity: The items show high "face validity". (content and construct validity). Findings on the original version (comparison of 60 patients with schizophrenic disorder and 60 matched healthy subjects, influence of medication, gender and age) prove the clinical validity.
