SEA
Skala zur Erfassung von Arbeitsbezogenheit
Short abstract
The SEA measures with 20 items the workaholism dimension in a differentiated way. In 1971, Oates coined the term "workaholism" in reference to the term "Alcoholism". As a workaholic he defines a person who has the incessant urge or compulsion to work constantly. Reliability: Alpha according to Cronbach (alpha = .87), split-half reliability according to Spearman-Brown (rtt = .71) and retest reliability (rtt = .92) were calculated. Validity: Content-logical validity results from the construction context. standards: T-values as well as percentile rank values are available.
