AAVA
„Absicht“ und „Ausführung“ bei der Verhaltensänderung im Rahmen der Angstbehandlung
Short abstract
The AAVA enables the assessment of intention and execution in the treatment of clinical anxiety disorders. It is based on the German language version of the University of Rhode Island Change Assessment Scale (Maurischat et al., 2002), which was originally developed for pain patients. With a total of 35 statements, the procedure captures the two domains "intention" (3 subscales (k = 19): Problem Externalization, Initial Problem Awareness, Intention to Act) and "Execution" (3 subscales (k = 16): Learning, Maintaining, Confidence). Reliability: The internal consistency of the subscales of the Intention domain ranges from α = .70 to α = .78; that of the Execution domain ranges from α = .69 to α = .80. The split-half reliability ranges from rtt = .66 to rtt = .76 ( Intention) and from rtt = .65 to rtt = .81 (Execution). Validity: Correlations with other measures of anxiety (e.g., AKV and BAI) were calculated to examine convergent validity.
