SEA
Skala zur Erfassung von Testverfälschung durch positive Selbstdarstellung und sozial erwünschte Antworttendenzen
Short abstract
Both test forms (SEA and SEA-K) are used for the accurate and reliable determination of test falsification through positive self-presentation - especially in online tests. The SEA scale comprises seven Likert-Items, the short form (SEA-K) two items, which were optimized and selected in a calibration sample. Reliability: SEA has an internal consistency of Cronbach's alpha = .70 and SEA-K an internal consistency of alpha = .59. Validity: Significant correlation with the intention to falsify the test by positive self-presentation and significant differences in mean values as well as a correct classification with thresholds at good power (> 40%) and low probability of error could be demonstrated. standards: Stanine standards are available.
