SEZE
Skalen zur Erfassung Zyklothymen Erlebens
Short abstract
The SEZE questionnaire with its four state and five trait scales represents a differentiated assessment instrument for the multidimensional recording of depressive experiences. It can be used in phenomenological syndromatology for research purposes in addition to differential diagnostic and therapeutic applications. SEZE is divided into two survey procedures (state and trait version) with 68 state items distributed on four scales (depression, hypomania, physical exhaustion, agitation) and 81 trait items on five scales (depression, agitation, the "good person", hypomania, uncertainty). Reliability: The reliability of the scales was measured with Cronbach's Alpha, Spearman-Brown-Coefficient and Kuder-Richardson. With the exception of the trait scale "Der gute Mensch", whose reliability coefficients range between .73 and .81, the values of the other scales vary between > .80 and > .90. Validity: No specific validity studies have been conducted to date. Norms : A transformation table of the raw scale values into stanine, T-values and percentile rank values is available, calculated on the basis of calibration samples with n = 402 (state) and n = 853 (trait) subjects.
