KSE
Kölner Skala zur Messung von Einsamkeit
Short abstract
The KSE is an adaptation of the American original and measures loneliness with 20 items. Reliability: Internal consistency according to Cronbach's alpha and split-half reliability were .88, and stability after a 3-month interval was rtt = .72. Validity: The KSE was correlated with the FPI-K and a shyness scale, as well as with several constructs such as life situation, physical attractiveness, and causal attribution.
