Psychomeda Big-Five-Persönlichkeitstest
Short abstract
The B5T captures (online) the five basic personality dimensions (Big Five) of psychology. It contains the following five scales, each with 10 items: (1) Neuroticism, (2) Extraversion, (3) Conscientiousness, (4) Tolerance, (5) Openness. In 2010 the test was performed 4 597 times. Due to gradual exclusion of inconsistent data, 3 088 data sets remained in the test sample. Reliability: The reliability of the scales moves between Cronbach's alpha = .70 and alpha = .88. Validity: The five-factor structure was confirmed by a principal component analysis. Clear correlations with the professional activity could be proven. Together, the scales reveal 10% of the variance in income - even if age and gender are taken into account. Norms: Gender- and age-specific norms exist.
